1. Scope
This Notice supplements our Privacy Policy with disclosures and rights specific to California residents under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (collectively, CCPA/CPRA), and provides the “Your Privacy Choices” mechanism required by California law.
It applies whether or not we currently meet CCPA thresholds; we extend these rights as a matter of practice.
2. Categories of Personal Information We Collect
In the preceding 12 months, we have collected the following categories of “personal information” as defined by the CCPA:

3. How We Use, Disclose, “Sell,” and “Share” Personal Information
We disclose personal information to service providers, payment processors, identity verification vendors, government authorities (when required), other marketplace users (to the extent necessary for transactions and INFORM Act disclosures), and successors in connection with corporate transactions.
We do not sell personal information for money. However, certain analytics and advertising cookies — if you do not opt out — may involve “sharing” or “selling” of personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA (cross-context behavioral advertising). The categories potentially involved are A (Identifiers) and F (Internet/network activity).
We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes other than those permitted under CCPA § 7027(m) without offering you the right to limit such use.
4. Your California Privacy Rights
If you are a California resident, you have the right to:
- Know what categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected, the sources, the purposes, and the recipients;
- Delete personal information we have collected (subject to statutory exceptions, e.g., transaction records, fraud prevention, legal obligations);
- Correct inaccurate personal information;
- Opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of your personal information;
- Limit use of your sensitive personal information to purposes permitted by CCPA § 7027(m);
- Be free from retaliation for exercising any of these rights;
- Designate an authorized agent to act on your behalf.
5. How to Exercise Your Rights
Submit a request:

We verify identity using information already on file (typically email + a confirmation flow); for sensitive requests we may require additional verification proportionate to the sensitivity.
We respond within 45 days, extendable by an additional 45 days with notice. There is no fee for exercising your rights.
If we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our denial. If unresolved, you may complain to the California Privacy Protection Agency at https://cppa.ca.gov.
6. Your Privacy Choices — Opt Out of Sale/Sharing
To opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of your personal information:
- Use the “Your Privacy Choices” link in our website footer (also reachable directly at
/your-privacy-choices). - Send a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal from your browser — we honor it as a valid opt-out without further action.
- Email privacy@linncountymarket.com with subject “Do Not Sell or Share My Info.”
Opt-outs persist for at least 12 months; we will re-prompt no sooner than that interval.
7. Shine the Light (Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.83)
California residents may request information about disclosures of personal information to third parties for those third parties’ direct marketing purposes during the prior calendar year. We do not currently make such disclosures, but if that changes, this section will be updated.
8. Notice of Financial Incentives
We do not currently offer financial incentives in exchange for personal information.
